Dallas' Medical City Hospital is holding a blood drive starting Thursday morning
The Salvation Army has four emergency disaster kitchens on site responding to the explosion in West. Two are from the DFW area -- one from Fort Worth and one from Waxahachie.. Salvation Army workers are distributing food and water to victims and emergency responders.

(West, TX) -- Multiple fatalities are now reported at a fertilizer plant explosion north of Waco, Texas. A nursing home is reported to have collapsed near the explosion site, trapping many people in the rubble. At least 100 people are reported injured in the blast which took place in the city of West, Texas about 19 miles north of Waco.
